The IEEE IST Student Branch is a non-profit group of volunteers, IEEE members and IST students.

Its goals include:

• Advance the personal and professional development of IST students
• Promote IEEE membership
• Organize interesting activities
• Support students in the execution of relevante extra-curricular projects
• Promote IST and its degrees in IEEE areas of intervention
• Help students interact with the IEEE
